I’m a writer, editor and content strategist who likes to keep things simple. I have a talent for taking complex topics and making them clear and engaging. Demystifying medical research is a particular passion of mine. I’ve written for Consumer Reports, The BMJ and HealthCentral, among other publications and clients.
HOW I CAN HELP
Content strategy: Planning, scoping and creating content that engages your audience and advances your larger goals.
Content management: Managing editorial calendars, projects and workflows; working across teams (e.g. editorial, design, engineering) to keep projects on track and on schedule.
Writing: Articles, blogs, scripts, newsletters, decision aids, research summaries, in-depth health guides, tweets and text messages — I write both big and small, for a variety of audiences.
Editing, copyediting: Editing your copy for greater impact, while preserving your voice.
UX: Engaging and guiding your users with clear, helpful language — and working closely with design and engineering to create a satisfying user journey.
House style, voice, reading level: Understanding your audience and how to communicate with them clearly and consistently.
Research analysis and synthesis: Appraising medical research and putting it into context for your audience, whether patients, researchers or clinicians.
